Reiki came to my life -
I felt that my life was missing something, I needed to connect with something different, something new, needed
to feel full, feeling myself.  About 10 years ago, I was touring places and studying other disciplines, Reiki caught my attention and I started surfing the web. I found and chose the place to start my "healing."  I decided to take my first Usui Reiki class. From that moment, I felt so connected and identified with Reiki. I had no doubt that Reiki had come into my life at the right time. Reiki came to my life when I was going through a period of great anguish within me. Reiki gave me strength. Reiki is a part and way of life for me.

Meeting Inamoto Sensei in Buenos Aires
My concern and my inner joy was so great that I decided to conduct various courses, methods and masters through My Reiki Master in Buenos Aires. Through him, I became aware of his Reiki Teacher- Inamoto Sensei, someone whom he considered unattainable, impossible to know.  In 2011, in Buenos Aires, my Reiki Master gave me the opportunity to meet Inamoto Sensei. I had the honor to attend Komyo  Reiki Shinpiden (Teacher Degree) Training and became a Shihan (Teacher). I was very amazed to meet Inamoto Sensei. He is wonderful, full of purity, love and wisdom. It's a blessing for me to have Inamoto Sensei as my teacher. His simplicity, his inner peace and greatness of his soul and especially his humility is unmatched. I feel great respect and admiration for him

Komyo Reiki

Komyo Reiki is undoubtedly, one of the original systems of Reiki. It is  pure because it comes from a direct lineage of Mikao Usui Sensei, founder of Usui Reiki Ryoho.  This makes it unique, genuine Reiki. My admiration and respect for Komyo Reiki and Komyo Reiki Practitioners around the world. The seriousness with which the system handles no comparisons. Thank you Inamoto Sensei to have you as my Reiki Teacher, I'm grateful for the opportunity to meet you.  Lilia Marquez Thank you for all the  Komyo Reiki Kai New York facebook page postings. Thank you again to offer me the opportunity to share my Reiki Story. I hold in my heart forever. My regards and respect, Thank you
Sensei! Thank you Lilia!

It was February 2007 when I first went to a Reiki class in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At first, I began taking the first level for curiosity because I didn't really have a clear idea of what Reiki was all about. Stress was harming my spine and with my daily Reiki practices my health got notably better. Reiki also gave me the time I really needed to start listening to my inner voice and to find myself in complete harmony. Since then, I start my daily Reiki practice with Gassho meditation.

Practicing Reiki with self and others
After trying on myself, I began to practice Reiki with my family so I could take out the best of Reiki's healing energy.  I lived in the United States for two years, the lapse of time was perfect to get deeper into my Reiki path. It
really helped me to get in touch with my neighbors. I told them what Reiki was about and they became really interested in it. Two of them were battling against breast and liver cancer, and Reiki strengthened their immunological system and gave them the harmony they needed to complement medicine.

Komyo Reiki Shinpiden (Teacher Degree) Training
In December 2011, Rev Hyakuten Inamoto gave a class of Komyo Reiki Shinpiden in Buenos Aires and that was the occasion when I got my certificate as a Shihan/teacher. Inamoto Sensei did really take my breath away with his
kindness, serenity, simplicity, and depth by transmitting us not only the Reiki path, but he also showed us his knowledge and wisdom.

Komyo Reiki meant to me a rebirth, a self-consciousness awakening and the feeling of Reiki as the Universal language of that healing Love that mainly goes through our hands.   I take the motto that Inamoto Sensei gifted us. He said: ' Put your hands, let yourselves go and smile'. It really works!

I've discovered that when I connect to the Reiki energy, my life changes forever because Reiki is within me.
- Maria Cristina MANDADO

How did Reiki came to your life?
Many years ago, in the late 1990s, I was told by a psychic that I’m going to heal others through my hands and I have to find out about Reiki.

It took several years before I decided to take my first Reiki class. At that time, I didn’t know what it meant by Being Reiki. Several years passed, my inner voice told me to return to my Reiki path, not only for healing but also for my spiritual path. I've discovered that when I connect to the Reiki energy, my life changes forever because Reiki is within me.

When and how did you meet Inamoto Sensei?
My restless spirit led me to learn different systems. My Reiki Teacher in Argentina offered us the opportunity to meet his Japanese teacher, a beautiful being, Inamoto Sensei. It was Inamoto Sensei’s first visit in Argentina. The class was held in Marriott Hotel in Buenos Aires. At the end of the class, all Attendees gathered around the room in "Mawashi", hands touching. There were more than 900 people, 900 souls vibrating in unison, full of energy.

0n his second visit in 2007, I was blessed to attend his Shinpiden Training. It was one of the most unforgettable and happy moments of my life. I have great respect and admiration for Inamoto Sensei. My heart and my soul rejoice every time he visits.

Why do you like Komyo Reiki?
Komyo Reiki system is undoubtedly one of the most genuine; it has a direct lineage to the founder of Usui Reiki Ryoho, USUI Mikao Sensei. Inamoto Sensei’s wisdom, joy, respect and commitment to Reiki, makes it a jewel for the Reiki Practitioner and their recipients. I feel a great affection and admiration for my beloved Inamoto Sensei and an immense
gratitude for this blessing that he has given us through this system of Reiki

Lilia, I would like to thank you for letting me share with other Reiki Practitioners in different countries my experiences and how I feel about Reiki. Thank you for being a part this blessed road called Reiki. Thank you Hyakuten Sensei, I carry it in my heart forever.
