Inamoto Sensei with Shihan Constantinos Nterziotis
I like tradition and I respect all those who follow the old way. Komyo Reiki system is something pure. No non-Reiki theories exist in Komyo Reiki system.

How did Reiki came to your Life?
Reiki came to me by Divine Guidance. I read books describing Reiki experiences but I never believed in those. I was in a bookstore when I saw a poster about a Reiki festival (in Hellas it is very rare to talk about Reiki). I saw this poster many times. Many other signs guided me to go to the festival. I went and stayed all day long. There were several Reiki Teachers with different Reiki Styles. I spoke with many Reiki teachers and practitioners.
One teacher was so different from all the others- Argy Barlama, a Komyo Reiki Shihan (Teacher) who spoke about the Japanese Reiki. I tried to meet and speak with her, but it was impossible. Months later the Divine Guidance took me to her house. I was accepted as a student. We had many things in common, like ideas for life and spritualism. Because of that we became good friends.
When and how did you meet Inamoto Sensei?
My Shihan was initiated by Inamoto Sensei. I met Hyakuten Inamoto sensei here in Hellas in March of 2010. Inamoto sensei came back to Hellas in 2011, I went to meet him with Argy and Varvara Hatzisavva. We ate nice traditional Hellenic food. I asked him questions about Komyo Reiki for 2 hours. He was too kind and he answered all of them. We also discussed about cultures, politics, history etc. He is one of the most pleasant people I know and his energy levels are high.

Komyo Reiki gave meaning to my practice and helps me fulfill my purpose as a Reiki Practitioner and Teacher with much more happiness and integrity. In a period when I was looking for deeper answers, Komyo Reiki came as a revelation as to the real nature of the Reiki Art and rescued my practice. It is as simple and profound as Reiki Ryoho should be.
I have an immense love and respect for my Teacher, Hyakuten Inamoto, whom I was extremely lucky to meet by synchronicity. Synchronicity means you are in the Right Place, at the Right Time, doing the Right Thing. Being in his presence is such a gift.

How did Reiki came to your life?
Thanks to the Aura-Soma Color Care System, I got to know Reiki Ryoho. The Aura-Soma teacher with whom I was attending courses at that time, she used to run an Aura-Soma shop; together with another of her students we would help her run the shop. That other student, Nadia, she was a Reiki L1 practitioner. One day she told me about her Reiki practice and I invited her to give me a treatment, which she did, and I liked it a lot. Few months later and after I completed the Aura-Soma Foundation course (Dec 1999), I met my Reiki Master (Stavros Stefanos) - he visited the shop to buy some A-S products- with whom I completed Reiki 1 (Spring 2000) and later that year Reiki 2. That teacher was coming from the Takata/Furumoto lineage.
When and how did you meet Inamoto Sensei?
On October 2005 I traveled to Japan to attend the Aura-Soma Teacher Training Level 2 taking place in Nagano. Seizing the opportunity I stayed in Kyoto for 2 weeks. I wanted to visit the Kurama mountain, the birthplace of Reiki Ryoho. It was October 10th, when I took the train from Demachiyanangi station to visit Kurama. I was 28 years old.
Synchronically I met Revered Hyakuten Inamoto (founder of Komyo Reiki Kai) in the train; he was sitting opposite me along with two Canadian student-teachers; they were too going to Kurama. I heard them talking about the Reiki symbols and so I was encouraged to ask them the purpose of their visit. Inamoto sensei invited me to join their tour and so I did. Lucky me! Inamoto sensei is a regular visitor of the Kurama mountain. During the walk (or trek) again he's teaching in a way, answering questions, sharing useful insights about Japanese culture, giving instructions etc. A highly didactic and insightful experience! Kurama mountain by itself is a teaching; powerful, vibrant, alive, wise, beautiful; unbelievable! And the Temple too. At the site called Osugi Gongen (i.e. Great Incarnation Cedar tree, where Usui sensei is said to have been practicing meditation and reached enlightenment) I had the luck to receive my first Reiju (attunement) by Inamoto sensei.
It was the most awesome Reiki experience I've ever had! A revelation really! It changed my whole understanding and attitude towards my Reiki practice.-
What do you like about Komyo Reiki?
Since 2006 I only teach the Komyo Reiki Kai way. That’s because I love it so much and it's so precious to me. It gave meaning to my practice and helps me fulfill my purpose as a Reiki Practitioner and Teacher with much more happiness and integrity. In a period when I was looking for deeper answers, Komyo Reiki came as a revelation as to the real nature of the Reiki Art and rescued my practice. It is as simple and profound as Reiki Ryoho should be. It helped me clear lots of the confusion as to what is Reiki and what is not, and set the record straight for quite many historical and practical facts, and I'm so grateful for that. It also provided me with many glimpses into the history of Usui Reiki Ryoho.
